This booking entitles you to an annual pass for the Museum e.g. Wollaton Hall gives you access to Wollaton Hall's Natural History Museum, Nottingham Castle gives you access to Nottingham Castle and Newstead Abbey gives you access to Newstead Abbey's Historic House – this membership for the museum building is activated from purchase.

All adults require a ticket and the first 3 children are free per adult ticket purchased, if you require additional child tickets these can be purchased on site for £5.

Please note, at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park and Newstead Abbey & Gardens, parking charges apply on arrival. Nottingham Castle does not have public parking, there is limited accessible parking on site by prior arrangement.

Nottingham Castle's Cave Tour

Yes, all visitors are required to purchase a Standard Admission Ticket (£18) for Nottingham Castle that allows entry for the site & grounds, when booking a Cave Tour at Nottingham Castle. Please keep this in mind if booking a Cave Tour (£9). This is outlined as part of booking tickets online: www.nottinghamcastle.org.uk/cave-tours

Please bring your Admission / Annual Pass ticket with your Cave Tour ticket. If you do not already have one, you are able to arrange on entry to Nottingham Castle. Please do allow enough time prior to your visit to arrange. 

Wollaton Hall's Hidden History Tour

Visitors can purchase the Hidden History Tour at Wollaton Hall for £18 without needing a admission ticket for the Hall. Please note, your entry to the Museum will be for the guided tour only. If you also wanted to visit & see the Museum's galleries you would be required to purchase a Standard Admission Ticket (£18) in addition. If you already have a Standard Admission Ticket you would be eligible to a members 50% discount for the Hidden History Tour (£9).

Outdoors are permitted, as long as you keep them on a lead. 

Indoors are not permitted for standard access, only permitted if they are a guide dog and are on a lead at all times.

At Newstead Abbey & Gardens

• House Walkthrough at select times on weekends, due to the site being in a phase of roof works that limit access to the House (1st Floor) with a guided walkthrough only

All visitors to arrive to the venue a minimum of 10 minutes before the tour start time, e.g. 11 am slot, visitors should arrive for 10.50 am to help navigate the site and gain entry for the meeting point of the Tour.

Given the size of the sites, additional time is beneficial, so you are able to arrive earlier, allowing plenty of time for your Tour, to gain entry to the site, make use of facilities : toilets, & locate the meeting point. Nottingham Castle

• The Cave Tours operate with step only access, which are steep steps of undulating terrain & varying heights, and without hand rails in some parts of the route.

   

• Due to the historical nature of the site - there is not a lift for this facility. 

   

• It may be difficult to access for people with pre-existing medical conditions or limited mobility.

Wollaton Hall

• The Hidden History Tour - Full tour includes up to 300 steps.

   

• However, the route has a number of route options that can be arranged prior to booking tickets with guidance about requirements and any necessary adjustments needed. 

   

  For example, the route to the Prospect Room includes a narrow staircase spiral staircase, so would generally not be included in an accessible tour (subject to requirements)

   

• A lift is available with an adjustment of the route for accessible requirements (excluding Prospect Room)

Newstead Abbey

• The House Walkthrough (select days on weekends) is a guided tour to the Historic House (First Floor).

Due to the historical nature of the sites with undulating terrain and steps throughout (indoors & outdoors) suitable footwear & comfortable clothing is advisable.

Due to the site being open to visitors of all ages with a full school groups, hire & events programme in place running all year round, visitors must attend site (indoors & outdoors) with full clothing even on hot days. No bikini's or similar sunbathing attire (e.g. topless men).

This is a requirement for all areas across site e.g.  indoor spaces (Museum / Cafes / Toilets etc) and Outdoor (Parkland / Grounds / Gardens etc).
